Mahsun Kırmızıgül's remarks on Harbiye concerts
Stating that the Harbiye Open-Air concerts have lost their former allure, Mahsun Kırmızıgül said, "Now, anyone who pays the money can take the stage."
With the start of the summer season, Mahsun Kırmızıgül, who is expected to perform at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theater, expressed that the concerts have suffered a loss of prestige.
The famous artist stated that Harbiye has become ordinary, saying, "Harbiye has now become an ordinary place where everyone performs. It is not that important, but what matters to me is this; Harbiye cannot be compared to the prices of the casinos here. That is why it is a place where everyone can come," he said.
Arguing that the concert venue has turned into a commercial space, Kırmızıgül used the expressions, "Anyone who pays the money can give a concert at Harbiye Open-Air. You arrange a spot, if you have a sponsor, you go and rent it. It has no special quality left."
