The group will perform a concert at Parkorman in Istanbul on July 23, 2024.
WHO IS MASSIVE ATTACK?
Massive Attack is a British music group formed in Bristol in 1988. Its current members are Robert "3D" Del Naja, Adrian "Tricky" Thaws, and Grant "Daddy G" Marshall.
Their first album, Blue Lines, was released in 1991. "Unfinished Sympathy," featured on the album, was ranked 10th on The Guardian's list of the greatest songs of all time in 2009 and 63rd on NME's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time in 2014.
Shortly after the release of their third studio album, Mezzanine, in 1998, one of the group's founding members, Andy "Mushroom" Vowles ("Mush"), decided to leave the group due to differing views on the band's musical style.
The group has reached a worldwide sales figure of 13 million albums with the 5 studio albums they have released.
