Mehmet Utku Yıldırım wins the Fakir Baykurt Short Story Award
Author Mehmet Utku Yıldırım has been deemed worthy of the Fakir Baykurt Short Story Award for his book 'Hayatında Değil Yerin'.
The Fakir Baykurt Short Story Competition, organized by the Sarıyer Municipality in four categories—middle school, high school, adult, and 'Fakir Baykurt Story Book'—has concluded.
251 STORIES AND 106 STORY BOOKS PARTICIPATED
A total of 251 stories and 106 story books participated in the competition, with 32 stories in the middle school category, 38 stories in the high school category, 181 stories in the adult category, and 106 books in the Fakir Baykurt Story Book category.
As a result of the evaluations, Rüzgar Kemal Karaağaç won first place in the middle school category with the story 'Mutluluğu Paylaşmak', Onur Kesmen in the high school category with the story 'Muhayyel', and Irmak Titiz in the adult category with the story 'Uyuşuklar'.
The winner of the Fakir Baykurt Short Story Award was Mehmet Utku Yıldırım with his book 'Hayatında Değil Yerin'.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held.
