New exhibition from Berka Beste Kopuz: The Soil Collects the Past
Berka Beste Kopuz's exhibition titled 'The Soil Collects the Past' is hosted at Haliç Sanat Fener Evleri 1 with the support of İBB Miras and İBB Culture.
Tracing the paths of places, stories, and lived experiences through personal memories and archival materials collected from the Acıbadem region, the exhibition brings reflections of an archiving process spanning from 2019 to the present to the historic Fener Evleri.
Questioning the relationships between remembering and forgetting through memory practices, Kopuz invites viewers on a mental journey through time from November 23, 2023, to February 25, 2024.
