Pianist Tuluyhan Uğurlu to perform at Sirkeci Station
Pianist and composer Tuluyhan Uğurlu will meet music lovers in the historic waiting hall of Sirkeci Station on March 2.
Welcoming his audience with a different theme at every concert, artist Tuluyhan Uğurlu will perform his compositions and improvise during a concert that will explore two distinct themes.
The artist will interpret his piece 'Orient Express' accompanied by visuals of Anatolia's introduction to iron networks following the industrial revolution, as well as the first train lines and station buildings.
The destruction of the tracks built with the last money of the Ottoman Empire in the Middle East and recent footage from the Middle East will accompany the artist during his performance of 'Hejaz Express'.
The successful artist will interpret his piece 'Republic Trains' accompanied by footage starting from the War of Independence and the founding years of the Republic of Türkiye, continuing through the journeys Mustafa Kemal Atatürk took by train to explain his revolutions.
Atatürk's final journey to eternity on his private train will also be narrated accompanied by visuals.
