Recep İvedik returns to Netflix!

In July, Disney+ removed its local content, including Recep İvedik. Today, it was announced that all films in the series, including the seventh installment, have been added to the Netflix library.

The Recep İvedik series, starring Şahan Gökbakar and boasting a massive audience across Turkey, had recently drawn attention with its seventh film, which was released on Disney+. However, following an agreement with Disney, films other than the first ones had been removed from Netflix in previous years.

Today, a development of great interest to Netflix subscribers occurred regarding the series. The platform announced the addition of Recep İvedik to Netflix. This afternoon, Netflix shared a famous line from the first film of the series and subsequently announced that all films in the Recep İvedik series have been added to the platform. This collection includes Recep İvedik 7, which was released exclusively for Disney+ in December 2022. All subscribers can now access the entire series via Netflix.

Netflix's addition of this series to its library comes after Disney+ removed its original local productions during the summer months. These contents included Recep İvedik. At the time, Şahan Gökbakar described this decision as "unacceptable" and promised viewers that they would meet again.
