Director and producer Osman Sınav, one of the leading figures in Turkish cinema and the television world, has passed away at the age of 69. Sınav, who created unforgettable works such as "Kurtlar Vadisi" (Valley of the Wolves), "Ekmek Teknesi" (Bread Boat), and "Deli Yürek" (Crazy Heart), had been receiving treatment for cancer for some time.
Sınav was most recently visited last month by actors he had previously worked with, including Selçuk Yöntem, Oktay Kaynarca, Özgü Namal, and Mehmet Aslantuğ.

Reaching wide audiences, especially with the series he directed in the 1990s and 2000s, Sınav left a deep mark on the history of Turkish television. The famous director, who began his career with commercials, later made a name for himself with television and cinema projects. "Deli Yürek," considered one of the most cult series in Turkish television, began its broadcast life in 1998 and reached a large fan base.
