According to the statement regarding the event, Maria Pires will take the stage at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center on May 31 at 20:00.
The concert will be held with the performance sponsorship of İş Bankası.
The artist, who will be a guest at the festival once again after an eight-year hiatus, will be accompanied by the Festival Strings Lucerne for Beethoven's piano concerto.
The festival will host Khatia Buniatishvili on June 1, the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hungarian National Choir on June 2, and the Budapest Festival Orchestra and Francesco Piemontesi on June 3.
The festival will conclude on June 12.
