World-renowned folk poet Aşık Veysel Şatıroğlu was remembered on the 51st anniversary of his passing. A memorial program was held for Şatıroğlu at the Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Cultural Center in Sivas.
The program was attended by Sivas Governor Yılmaz Şimşek, ESTAŞ Chairman of the Board İsmail Timuçin, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Aziz Erdoğan, various provincial protocol members, and citizens.
MADE IN 10 MONTHS
Following the introductory film, the program began with the humanoid robot of Aşık Veysel, which was created in 10 months by Turkish scientist, robotics expert, and sculptor Adil Çelik. Taking the stage, Aşık Veysel's robot performed folk songs using artificial intelligence thanks to a device installed inside it.
