Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University hosted the 'International Karaelmas Art Workshop and Panel', with the participation of 56 artists, 18 of whom were from abroad. Artists from various disciplines presented the works they prepared to art lovers at the Karaelmas Art Gallery.

Krilova, who has been living in Turkey for 8 years and has painted portraits of artists such as Türkan Şoray and Neşet Ertaş as part of her 'Inspiring People' project, painted a portrait of the famous artist from Bartın, Barış Akarsu, during the workshop.

Pointing out that Akarsu is a symbol in his region and an inspiring artist, Krilova stated that they want to live in peace and that art brings people from different cultures together without prejudice.

'BARIŞ AKARSU INSPIRED ME'

Krilova said, "I have been living in Turkey for 8 years. A few months ago, I opened my solo exhibition on Istiklal Avenue in Istanbul. This work is a continuation of that project. I paint portraits of inspiring people. Barış Akarsu also inspired me. He overcame the obstacles within himself and existed in this world as a unique name. He managed to win the love of wide circles in his short life."
