'Shakespeare in Love' to be staged in Istanbul for the first time
Known for its emotionally charged story and sold-out runs in every country where it has been performed, 'Shakespeare in Love', directed by Serdar Biliş, will be staged in Turkey for the first time.
Starring Uraz Kaygılaroğlu (William Shakespeare) and Nezaket Erden (Viola), 'Shakespeare in Love' will be available to watch at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage throughout the season.
Tickets for the performances, which will be held for two consecutive days on January 6 and 7, have gone on sale.
WHAT IS THE PLOT OF SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE?
Interpreted as a bold love letter written to the theater, Shakespeare in Love brings together a spectacular production, extraordinary costumes, impressive dances, and original music to reveal the unifying power and boundless nature of theater.
The songs composed to reflect the play's surprising atmosphere are performed live on stage by musician Gülinler and a special orchestra assembled for the production.
