Sharp statement from Ajda Pekkan: "Baseless news is untrue and impolite!"
Singer Ajda Pekkan has reacted to claims that she has parted ways with Sedef Aygün, who was alleged to be her manager.
Legendary name of Turkish music, Ajda Pekkan, has given a sharp response on social media to reports claiming that she "parted ways with her manager Sedef Aygün following a protocol crisis."
Pekkan, who made headlines last summer due to a protocol crisis at her Harbiye concert and for appearing late on stage at her İzmir concert, stated that the allegations reflected in the press are baseless. According to the claims, Pekkan had blamed Sedef Aygün, who was alleged to be her manager, for the crisis, terminated their collaboration, and started working with Polat Yağcı.
However, in a statement on her Instagram account, Pekkan used the following expressions:
“Sedef Aygün is not my manager; she is my dear family friend and sister.”
“This impolite news is an attempt to cast a shadow over our friendship and is completely untrue.”
The famous artist called for these baseless reports to be disregarded, emphasizing that her eternal friendship with Sedef Aygün continues.
