According to the statement made by the General Directorate of State Theatres, in addition to the plays continuing from previous months that are playing to sold-out houses, 8 plays will premiere across 7 regions in March.

State Theatres to premiere 8 plays in 7 regions in March

The Ankara State Theatre's production of "Devlet Ana" (Mother State), written by Kemal Tahir, adapted for the stage by Osman Özkan, and directed by Ayşe Emel Mesci, will meet art lovers at the Çayyolu Cüneyt Gökçer Stage on March 5.

The Erzurum State Theatre's production of "Clue," written by Jonathan Lynn and directed by Gökçe Yurtsal, will premiere on March 7, while the children's play "Sihirli Kutu" (The Magic Box), directed by Pınar Ataer, will debut at the Erzurum State Theatre Stage on March 20.

The Istanbul State Theatre production of "Çöp Canavarı" (The Trash Monster), written and directed by Cengiz Özek, will premiere on March 17 at the Üsküdar Tekel Stage, and the Antalya State Theatre production of "Humble Boy," written by Charlotte Jones, translated by Seçil Honeywill, and directed by Yunus Emre Bozdoğan, will premiere on March 20 at the Antalya Haşim İşcan Cultural Center State Theatre Stage.

The Diyarbakır State Theatre's production of "Top Girls," written by Caryl Churchill, translated by Ebru Demirdöven and Esma Çankaya, and directed by Bilge Emin, will be staged for the first time on March 27 at the Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Cultural Center Orhan Asena Stage.

The Van State Theatre production of "Külhanbeyi Operası" (The Opera of the Ruffians), written by Ülkü Ayvaz and directed by Musa Arslanali, will meet audiences on March 27 at the Van Cultural Center Stage, and the Kayseri State Theatre production of "Kral Üşümesi" (The King's Chill), written by Sabahattin Kudret Aksal and directed by Ece Okay, will debut at the Kayseri State Theatre on March 28.
