Statement from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism regarding the CSO
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that the 100th anniversary of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO), which has a history of nearly 200 years, receiving the name 'Presidential Philharmonic Orchestra' with the approval of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is being celebrated.
In a post shared on the ministry's social media account, the following statements were made:
"We are celebrating the 100th anniversary of our Presidential Symphony Orchestra, which has a history of nearly 200 years, receiving the name 'Presidential Philharmonic Orchestra' with the approval of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Our orchestra continues to enrich its artistic heritage, which extends from the past to the present, with extraordinary performances and unforgettable works. We wish for our Presidential Symphony Orchestra to continue to shed light on our art for many more centuries."
