Famous artist Mabel Matiz had recently appeared in court due to a lawsuit filed regarding his song titled "Perperişan." During the hearing held on January 9, Matiz was asked whether the lyrics of the song were "sung by a woman to a man," and the artist reacted to this question.

In his statement at the hearing, Matiz said, "There is no ill intent in these songs. My artistic stance is clear. Children and young people are very important to me. I change the lyrics that I find inappropriate for children and young people when I perform them at concerts. I do not accept the accusations."
