After a long hiatus of seven years, Tarkan, the beloved name of pop music, took the stage in Istanbul and received great interest from his fans with a series of 10 concerts held last month.
The concerts, for which tickets sold out in a short time, concluded with an unforgettable finale on February 4. The artist's stage performance and surprise guests found wide resonance on social media and in the music agenda.
NEW DECISION FOR ABU DHABI EVENTS
Tarkan's planned stop after Istanbul was Abu Dhabi. The concerts, which were scheduled to take place on April 16 and 17, were canceled due to concerns over security arising from current developments in the region. The artist and his team evaluated this decision in line with the information received.
LOCAL AUTHORITIES STEP IN
The cancellation of the concerts mobilized not only Tarkan fans but also officials in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. While the Dubai local government is conducting various negotiations to ensure the planned concerts can be held, fans in the region who want to watch Tarkan on stage again continue to follow the developments closely.
