The detail that left its mark on the ceremony: Kılıçdaroğlu's wreath was not allowed inside at Kadir İnanır's funeral

Kadir İnanır, one of the unforgettable actors of Turkish cinema, has passed away at the age of 77. His loved ones and prominent figures from the art community gathered on June 28 at the memorial ceremony held at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage to honor the memory of the master artist.

During the farewell ceremony held for İnanır's remains in the hall, numerous wreaths sent to the venue were displayed. However, a detail that did not escape notice at the ceremony became a topic of public discussion.

According to reports by Birsen Altuntaş, the wreath sent by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was appointed as CHP Chairman by court order, was left at the entrance door instead of being taken into the hall. Attendees observed that Kılıçdaroğlu's wreath was kept outside the hall.

In contrast, the wreaths sent by the elected CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and the imprisoned presidential candidate, who is also the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Ekrem İmamoğlu, were placed on the stage alongside those of other high-level figures. Those watching the ceremony also pointed out in social media posts that while the wreaths belonging to Özgür Özel and Ekrem İmamoğlu were displayed in the most visible area of the hall, Kılıçdaroğlu's wreath was not allowed inside.
