The Face of the Republic exhibition extended until June 2

The Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation's exhibition, 'The Face of the Republic,' which focuses on the reflections of the multidimensional social transformation of the early Republican era on culture, art, and social life, brings the period's perspective on cultural disciplines such as plastic arts, music, literature, graphic and architectural design, performing arts, museology, archaeology, and cinema to the present day.

The exhibition, which opened its doors on November 1 and has received great interest, has had its visiting period extended until June 2.

Realized with the contributions of Borusan Contemporary, the exhibition addresses the multidimensional social transformation during the quarter-century covering the national struggle and its aftermath, not only through art products but also within the scope of the academic discipline of art history, while conveying the aesthetic understanding of the period through its traces in social life.

EXHIBITION CAN BE VISITED UNTIL JUNE 2

The 'Face of the Republic' exhibition aims to reveal the diversity and change in aesthetic understanding through the unique selection it presents. The exhibition features over 500 original and digital works, documents, and ephemera from the collections of cultural and art institutions, galleries, personal archives, foundations, research centers, official archives, and universities, including the Istanbul Research Institute, IMM, Salt, the Ministry of Culture Film Archive, the Yapı Kredi Historical Archive, the Semiha Berksoy Opera Foundation, and the İnönü Foundation.

Presenting the spirit of the period to visitors with a comprehensive content that combines original works, documents, and ephemera with digital experiences, the 'Face of the Republic' exhibition can be visited for free at Galataport Istanbul O2 Block until June 2, every day except Monday, between 11:00 and 20:00.
