Fiona Harvey, who claims to be the real-life inspiration for the character Martha—portrayed as a stalker in Netflix's controversial series Baby Reindeer—is preparing to sue Netflix.
In the series, written by and starring actor Richard Gadd, the character of Martha, played by Jessica Gunning, is depicted as a stalker and harasser.
The series entered the top 10 on Netflix's global most-watched list this week.
'THIS CANNOT GO ON, I WILL HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE'
Fiona Harvey, who asserts that she is the person behind the Martha character, spoke to the Scottish Sun newspaper.
Explaining that she has been receiving death threats since it was stated that the series is based on a true story, Harvey said, "People will probably say I'm a serial killer. This cannot go on. I will hold them accountable."
Stating that she is a qualified lawyer and will handle her case herself, Harvey added, "I was the top student in my school. I have a photographic memory and can remember large files."
The woman, who is alleged to be the real-life 'stalker' of the Netflix series Baby Reindeer, had previously been accused of harassing two prominent Scottish politicians.
