Theater actor and director Ali Hürol passes away at 76

Theater actor, director, and voice artist Ali Hürol has passed away at the age of 76. In addition to his stage work, Hürol had appeared in numerous productions well-known to television audiences.

Hürol, who left a mark on memories with his character Cemşit in the series "Aşkına Eşkıya," also appeared before audiences in productions such as "Sıla," "Gökten Üç Elma Düştü," and "Sağır Oda."

Ali Hürol's funeral will be laid to rest at the Second Yeniköy Cemetery tomorrow in the Kuşadası district of Aydın, following the funeral prayer to be held at the Hacı Ferit Demirel Mosque after the noon prayer.

In a condolence message published for Hürol, the General Directorate of State Theaters stated that after graduating from the Ankara State Conservatory's higher education department, the artist continued his artistic career under the umbrella of the State Theaters as an actor and director.

The statement emphasized that Hürol held an important place in the institution's artistic memory through the works he staged and his contributions to theater, noting that he also produced work in television series and voice acting alongside his theater activities.

We have lost my dear colleague, the very valuable and kind veteran theater actor Ali Hürol. I am very sad, may your place be heaven, dear Ali. I wish patience to your family and loved ones.

As condolence messages arrived from the art community, actress Melek Baykal also shared a post expressing her sorrow for her colleague Hürol.
