Tivibu announces its March schedule

Tivibu is adding 'Ramadan Special' and 'Strong Women' folders to its showcase in March. The Ramadan special folder will feature recipes from master chefs, as well as many different programs and documentaries reflecting the spirit of Ramadan. The 'Strong Women' folder, meanwhile, includes films featuring strong female protagonists in honor of International Women's Day in March.

In March, Tivibu is presenting the productions ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’, ‘A Good Person’, ‘Acid’, ‘Catching Hope’ and ‘The Swan Princess: A Fairytale Is Born’ to viewers in its film folder.

The standout content in the folder's animation category, ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’, follows the struggle of Sonic, an anthropomorphic hedgehog, and his sidekick Tails against Dr. Robotnik and his partner Knuckles' attempts to destroy civilizations.

Another production in the folder, ‘Acid’, tells the story of a girl and her divorced parents who must join forces to face and try to escape a climate disaster in a world teetering on the edge of an abyss.

Another animation in the Tivibu Film folder, the 2023 production “The Swan Princess: A Fairytale Is Born”, depicts Uberta passing the royal scepter to Odette and Derek, and the rival Queen Wixom ruining the kingdom's greatest coronation ceremony.

While the 2023 production ‘A Good Person’, featuring a cast including Morgan Freeman, tells the story of Allison, whose life is turned upside down after being involved in a fatal accident, ‘Catching Hope’, directed by Joshua Caldwell, focuses on the story of a marine injured in Afghanistan.

The platform is bringing the film ‘The Hill’, starring Dennis Quaid, Colin Ford and Joelle Carter, to viewers in its 'Rent-Buy' folder.

The film tells the life story of Rickey Hill, who overcomes his physical disability to play professional baseball, defying the advice of his overprotective father.

FILMS IN THE FOLDER

Another production in the platform's Rent-Buy folder is the film ‘The Creator’. The film tells the story of a hardened ex-special forces agent recruited to hunt down and kill the elusive architect of artificial intelligence, amidst a war between humans and AI.

Another film in the folder is the 2022 production ‘Morbius’, starring Jared Leto. The film focuses on Dr. Michael Morbius treating the rare blood disease he suffers from with an experimental method.

Throughout March, the platform is bringing together various content featuring female leads, specifically for International Women's Day.

Many films in the comedy, drama, action, and adventure genres in the ‘Strong Women’ folder added to Tivibu Showcase are being presented to Tivibu viewers starting March 6.

The action-adventure film ‘Wonder Woman’, one of the DC Comics masterpieces, the local comedy film ‘Nadide Hayat’ starring Demet Akbağ and Yetkin Dikinciler, and ‘Queen Elizabeth’, which tells the life story of the longest-reigning British monarch in the documentary category, are among the productions that will be met with interest in the platform's “Strong Women” folder.

SPECIAL CONTENT FOR THE MONTH OF RAMADAN

The platform is bringing programs special to the month of Ramadan to the screen. The Ramadan Special Folder will be on Tivibu screens from Monday, March 4 to Friday, April 12. Throughout the month of Ramadan, ‘Mukabele with Imams of the Kaaba’, ‘Ramadan Kitchen with Deniz’, ‘Esma-ül Hüsna’, ‘Prayers from the Holy Quran’ and documentaries will meet viewers in the Ramadan Special folder.

In the Ramadan special folder, ‘Ramadan Kitchen with Deniz’, hosted by Chef Deniz Orhun, will feature recipes from different regions of traditional Turkish cuisine. In addition, the folder includes programs such as ‘Our Mosques’, which explains the architecture of Anatolian mosques, ‘Prophet’s Prayers’, ‘Hymns’ and ‘Hadith’.

CRIME, THRILLER, DRAMA AND MORE

Bringing series that have received full marks from series enthusiasts to viewers, the platform is presenting the series ‘Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ and ‘Alice The Final Weapon’ to its audience in its series folder in March.

The American crime drama ‘Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ follows Nikki Batista as she joins the Philadelphia Police Department's Missing Persons Unit to help others find their loved ones while searching for her own missing son.

Another production in the series folder, the Korean drama ‘Alice The Final Weapon’, deals with the story of high school students chased by criminal organizations.

CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS COME TO THE SCREEN

New programs continue to be broadcast on the platform's new lifestyle channel, Tivilife. In the production titled ‘Perspective’, which will be broadcast on Tivilife for the first time in March, contemporary artists who produce unconventional works and add a new perspective to art come to the screen.

Kinetic sculpture, pointillist painting, diorama, doodle, glass sculpture, pop miniature, paper, puppet, underwater landscape, mural and artificial intelligence artists share their artistic journeys with the audience.

The stories of contemporary artists who interpret art from different perspectives will be with viewers in ‘Perspective’ in March.
