'Towards the Republic' performed 12 times in 9 cities: 110 artists take part in the play
The theater play 'Towards the Republic,' which focuses on the National Struggle and the story of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye and features 110 artists, has met with audiences 12 times in 9 cities.
The theater play titled 'Towards the Republic' has met with art lovers 12 times in 9 provinces. It was stated that 110 artists appear before the audience in the work, which tells the story of heroism during the National Struggle and the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin stated that the theatrical work was staged to contribute to the strengthening of social unity in Türkiye, calling it "one of the most beautiful works of art produced within the 100 years of the Republic."
It was stated that the work was written and directed by Bora Severcan, with original music composed by Selim Atakan, while the project was produced by Volkan Severcan and the project consultancy was provided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Sarıtaş.
It was noted that the play, which opened its curtains at the Ankara MEB Şura Stage on November 25 and began its tour of Türkiye, has received significant interest in Samsun, Ordu, Trabzon, Erzurum, Sivas, Tokat, İzmir, and İstanbul.
