Turkey at the International Improvisation Olympics!

İstanbulimpro, one of Turkey's leading improvisational theater troupes, has been honored with the opportunity to represent the country at the inaugural International Improvisation Olympics (ImproEM 2024).

This prestigious event, which will take place in Munich, will bring together theater troupes from 18 different countries around the world throughout April and May.

According to a report in BirGün, İstanbulimpro will compete in group matches against teams from Italy and Liechtenstein between April 24 and 28. This event marks the first major cultural organization held in Munich ahead of the European Football Championship. The final of ImproEM 2024 will take place in May, and the winners will be determined by audience votes and jury evaluations.

In this project, organized by ImproEM and supported by the Stiftung Fußball & Kultur EURO 2024, the German Government, and the Munich City Departments of Art, Culture, Education, and Sports, our country will be represented by Koray Tarhan, Zeynep Özyurt Tarhan, and Deniz Çeküç from the İstanbulimpro team.
