Turkey's first 'media art' fair begins
Noise_Media Art, Turkey's first international art fair focused on media art, will bring together technology, art, and music in Istanbul from January 12 to 21.
The fair, which centers on Kadıköy in its first edition, will welcome art enthusiasts across five different venues.
The fair, which will open with the OI_Music Powered by German Legend music program, will host participants at the Kadıköy City Museum, Alan Kadıköy, the Library of History, Literature and Art (TESAK), and the Notre Dame du Rosaire Church, as well as at Haliç Sanat / Fener Evleri in Balat.
On the opening day, Manchester-based Andy Stott, one of the creators of experimental-dub techno, and The Bug, who combines industrial music with Jamaican music through sound system culture, will also take the stage.
