Young pianist Alaz İkiz becomes the first Turk to win an award at a prestigious European piano competition
Pianist Alaz İkiz, a student at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory, was awarded the "Encouragement Award" at the 19th Ettlingen International Piano Competition held in Germany.

He succeeded in becoming the first Turkish artist to receive an award in the competition, which has been held since 1988.
