'Vienna Waltzes and Turkish Waltzes' concert to take place at AKM on February 16
The "Vienna Waltzes and Turkish Waltzes" concert, prepared by the Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (IFO), will meet art lovers at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) on February 16.
According to the statement made by the IFO, the orchestra, under the direction of conductor Orçun Orçunsel, will take the stage in a concert that brings together iconic Viennese waltzes and Turkish waltz compositions.
WILL CONSIST OF THREE PARTS
In the first part of the concert, compositions by Turkish composers Muallim İsmail Hakkı Bey, Dede Efendi, Sultan Abdülaziz, Erol Sayan, Yesari Asım Arsoy, Muhlis Sabahattin, and Orçun Orçunsel will be performed.

In the second part of the concert, the orchestra will interpret works by Johann Strauss and Emmerich Kálmán from the Vienna Waltzes.
Professional dancers, performing with choreography by İlke Kodal, will also present three performances consisting of Viennese waltzes and polkas to the audience.
