1.5-year-old Metehan Tütüncü, who was hospitalized in Tokat with suspected Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), has passed away despite all interventions. It was reported that a tick had attached itself to the baby, who lived with his family in the Koyulhisar district of Sivas, two days ago.
A 1.5-year-old baby who was being treated for suspected Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Tokat has passed away. A tick had attached itself to 1.5-year-old Metehan Tütüncü, the son of Süleyman and Nilüfer Tütüncü, who live in the Kalebaşı village of Sivas's Koyulhisar district, 2 days ago.

Taken to Reşadiye State Hospital by his family, baby Metehan was subsequently referred to Tokat State Hospital.
The baby, who was being treated at the hospital for suspected CCHF, could not be saved despite all interventions yesterday evening.
The baby's body will be laid to rest in Kalebaşı village in Sivas.
