1 of 4 people poisoned by pizza in Cizre has died
One of the 4 people who were hospitalized after being poisoned by pizza they ate in the Cizre district of Şırnak has died.
In Cizre, four people who allegedly ate pizza at a cafe became ill after being poisoned by the food. Upon notification by local citizens to the 112 emergency call center, medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Following the initial intervention by medical teams at the scene, the 4 poisoned individuals were taken by ambulance to Cizre Dr. Selahattin Cizrelioğlu State Hospital.
Mehmet Emin İğdi, one of the 4 people taken to the hospital, has died. While İğdi's body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy, it was learned that the exact cause of death will be determined after the autopsy is performed.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
