1 person killed in knife fight at metro station in İzmir
One of two people injured in a knife fight at a metro station in İzmir's Bornova district has died at the hospital where they were taken.
According to the information received, an argument broke out for an unknown reason between Emirhan Yıldız (19) and S.Y. (19) and K.P. (17) and Y.K. (19) at the metro station in Bornova.
As the argument turned into a fight, Emirhan Yıldız and his cousin S.Y. were injured with a knife.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Yıldız, one of the injured who was taken to Ege University Hospital by medical teams, could not be saved despite interventions. It was learned that S.Y. is not in life-threatening condition.
It was reported that K.P. and Y.K., who were apprehended by police teams in a short time, are undergoing processing at the police station.
