13 people detained in IMM investigation referred to courthouse
The police procedures for the 13 people detained on September 3 as part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office have been completed.
13 people detained as part of the "corruption" investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) have been referred to the courthouse.
The operation was carried out on September 3 following allegations of "rigging certain tenders and causing public loss" in an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The police procedures for the individuals detained in the operation have been completed.
The detained individuals, Abdulkerim Hazırbaba, Mustafa Delipoyraz, Volkan Karagöz, Talha Özyurt, Rezzan Neslihan Vural, Gökhan Fırtına, Saliha Ülkü Aydoğan, Ali Toy, Mehmet Yücetürk, Mustafa Sökmen, Vedat Taşdelen, Ekrem Baki, and Onur Gülin, underwent health checks.
The 13 people were subsequently referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. It was reported that the suspects' procedures at the prosecutor's office are ongoing.
