13 people had been detained: New arrests in the operation targeting Bayrampaşa Municipality
Two more people detained within the scope of the investigation into Bayrampaşa Municipality have been arrested. With the latest developments, the number of those sent to prison has risen to four, while judicial control measures were decided for eight suspects.
A total of 13 people were detained in operations carried out as part of the investigation into Bayrampaşa Municipality, and it was decided that the suspects would be referred to the courthouse on different dates.
2 PEOPLE ARRESTED
Following their statements at the prosecutor's office, an arrest warrant was issued for Ayhan Mutlu, the brother of Mayor Hasan Mutlu who is already in custody, and Ahmet Tufan. Both individuals were sent to prison after their procedures were completed.
Within the scope of the investigation, a judicial control measure including a travel ban and the requirement to report to a police station at regular intervals was applied to İmdat Kaygın.
It was reported that with the latest operations, the total number of arrests has risen to eight, while judicial control decisions remain in effect for five suspects.
