A total of 137 people from the Global Sumud Flotilla, including 36 Turkish citizens, who were detained by the Israeli administration while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, have arrived in Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight.
The activists, who were welcomed with flowers at Istanbul Airport, reunited with their relatives. After completing their procedures there, the 137 activists arrived at the Council of Forensic Medicine for health checks.
As Israel's attack on the Sumud Flotilla constitutes an international crime, the statements of not only the Turkish activists but all activists who wish to file a complaint will be taken by 10 assigned public prosecutors.
