14 detention warrants issued regarding FETÖ's Air Force structure

Within the scope of investigations conducted by the Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau, it was determined that the suspects, who were identified as being part of the organization's structure within the Air Force Command and involved in what is referred to as "covert services," were engaged in current financial activities.

It was determined that the suspects communicated with the organization's "civilian imams" using payphone landlines located in businesses such as kiosks, grocery stores, and markets in Ankara.

In this context, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants for 14 suspects, including one alleged covert imam, 5 officers (one of whom is on active duty), 7 dismissed non-commissioned officers, and 1 military student whose connection has been severed.

Operations to detain the suspects simultaneously in 4 provinces, centered in Ankara, are being carried out by teams from the Ankara Police Department.
