14 Syrian migrants who entered the country illegally caught in Bursa
14 migrants who arrived illegally first in Adana and then in Bursa were apprehended.
In Bursa, police teams signaled a vehicle to stop at a checkpoint. The driver, failing to comply with the order, fled with the vehicle. Following a pursuit by police teams, the vehicle was stopped.
14 MIGRANTS WHO ENTERED THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY WERE FOUND
14 individuals, stated to be of Syrian nationality, were found inside the vehicle. During questioning, it was stated that they had paid 2,000 dollars per person to travel from the city of Idlib in Syria to Bursa, and that they had attempted to flee first to Idlib, then to Adana, and finally to Bursa.
HANDED OVER TO THE PROVINCIAL DIRECTORATE OF MIGRATION MANAGEMENT
Police teams seized the unregistered money found on the suspects and the vehicle used by the suspects, and it was stated that the undocumented foreign nationals were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
The individual accused of human smuggling was arrested by the court to which they were referred.
