150,000 lira loan with 2-year grace period for young couples getting married
The Bill on the Establishment of the Family and Youth Fund has been accepted and enacted by the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
According to the proposal, young couples getting married will be provided with a 150,000 lira interest-free loan. The loan will be provided with a 2-year grace period, to be repaid over 4 years.
The Family and Youth Fund will be established under the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
20 percent of the revenue from oil, natural gas, and mining resources will be transferred to the fund.
Applications for the fund will be made online.
The loan amount will increase each year.
Following the earthquake zone, the implementation will be expanded across Turkey.
