16 people had been detained: New development in OnlyFans operation

Teams from the Cyber Crimes Investigation Branch of the Istanbul Police Department, under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, launched a series of investigations into individuals suspected of 'money laundering' and 'obscenity' as part of an ongoing probe. Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that access to the digital platform OnlyFans, which had been blocked by a court order on June 7, 2023, was being maintained by changing IP addresses.

Authorities determined that the suspects were directing their followers to exclusive content for a fee through posts on their social media accounts, and were attempting to increase engagement through visual and video posts for this purpose. Furthermore, it was revealed that not only the platform itself but also popular instant messaging applications were being used to access the content.

Following technical and physical surveillance, simultaneous operations were carried out across Istanbul early this morning. As a result of the operation, 16 suspects were detained, and it was reported that 2 companies, a total of 10 properties, and 14 vehicles were seized during the investigation.

Among those detained were Azranur Ay Vandan, Meltem Bakır, Gizem Avcı, Yağmur Şimşek, Öznur Güven, Cansu Bade Taş, Kübra Yurdakul, Arzu Yılmaz, Derin Gür, Dilber Doğan, Eme Nur Süder, Kadriye Değirmenci, Lina Su Özgen, Yaprak Meriç Yücel, Nisanur Kavak, Tuğçe Cansu Parlak, and Tülin Arıkoğlu.

It was stated that some individuals mentioned in the investigation are currently in prison or abroad. It was determined that Ebru Arman, Ceyda Ersoy, and Eda Alboya are in prison, while Zeynep Alkan, Gizem Bağdaçiçek, Merve Taşkın, Burçin Erol, and Serpil Cansız are abroad.

The 16 suspects, whose procedures at the police station have been completed, have been referred to the courthouse.
