2 arrested in 8th wave of operations targeting Antalya Metropolitan Municipality
Two of the 8 people detained in the 8th wave of operations recently conducted against the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality have been arrested by the court.
In the 8th wave of operations recently conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality on allegations of 'bribery' and 'laundering of assets derived from crime,' 8 people were detained.
It was alleged that the detained suspects U.K.Y., A.A., H.T.A., H.A., Y.Y., B.G., A.E., and B.G. had transferred movable and immovable assets to Muhittin Böcek and Mustafa Gökhan Böcek.
While suspects U.K.Y. and B.G. were released after their statements at the police station, the other 6 suspects were referred to the courthouse this evening.
A.A. was released after giving a statement to the prosecutor, while A.E., Y.Y., and H.A. were released under judicial control conditions. The other 2 suspects, B.G. and H.T.A., were arrested by the duty magistrate judge and sent to prison.
