2 arrested in 'fetus' case in Malatya
A 6.5-month-old fetus was found abandoned in bushes in the Yazıhan district of Malatya. Two of the 5 people detained in connection with the incident have been arrested.
According to allegations, police teams launched an investigation after receiving information that a fetus had been left in the bushes by an individual who came to the area in the Yazıhan district.
The examination conducted at the specified location revealed a 6.5-month-old fetus.
Deepening the investigation, the teams detained F.D., who resides in the Yavuz Selim neighborhood of the Yeşilyurt district, and her partner H.B.K.

FETUS TAKEN TO THE FORENSIC MEDICINE INSTITUTE
Following the initial statements of the suspects, hospital employees M.M., K.S.E., and M.F.U. were detained, while the fetus was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute.
Of the suspects referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station, the mother F.D., K.S.E., and M.F.U. were released under judicial control, while H.B.K. and M.M. were arrested. It was stated that C.D., who was detained later in connection with the incident, would also be referred to the courthouse.
