2 people detained over assault on teacher in Batman
A father and son alleged to have assaulted a teacher in Batman have been detained. The teacher's condition is reported to be good.
A father and son alleged to have assaulted a teacher in the Samanyolu village of the Kozluk district of Batman have been detained.
According to the allegations, A.B. (13), a student at a secondary school, was warned by the school principal for arriving late.
After the student informed his family of the incident, the father M.B. (54) and his son Y.B. (27) came to the school with a broom handle and got into an argument with the school principal.
When teachers intervened, the father and son assaulted the school's physical education teacher, İ.Y.
The injured teacher was taken to hospital.
The father and son were detained by gendarmerie teams.
The teacher's health condition is reported to be good.
