In the Dalaman district of Muğla, 2 people, including a non-commissioned officer, lost their lives and 1 person was injured after their vehicle fell into a canal.

The car with license plate 48 AHF 253, driven by Samet Doymuş, lost control and overturned into the Tersakan Creek canal near Kayacık beach.
Ali Bayrakdar, who managed to get out of the overturned car on his own, was taken to the hospital by medical teams.
It was determined that the driver, Samet Doymuş, and Kübra Demirkol, who was in the vehicle, had lost their lives after being recovered from the car by the Coast Guard Command diving team.
The bodies were taken to the morgue by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Dalaman Fire Department group teams using a funeral transport vehicle.
It was learned that Samet Doymuş was serving as a non-commissioned officer in the district.
