2 suspects arrested in illegal betting operation in Istanbul
Burak Soylu and Cihan Şanlı, who were detained as part of an illegal betting operation in Istanbul, have been arrested.
Burak Soylu, Cihan Şanlı, and Yavuz Basav were detained in an operation conducted as part of an illegal betting investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, after it was determined that they had obtained illicit gains through illegal betting games.
As a result of the findings, 1 million 600 thousand TL and 13 thousand US dollars were seized in a simultaneous operation carried out on January 18.
3 billion Turkish Liras found in the suspects' bank accounts were confiscated.
Burak Soylu and Cihan Şanlı were arrested by the judicial authorities to whom they were referred.
Yavuz Basav was released under judicial control.
