Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that Talgat Baisaov, who was wanted internationally with an Interpol Red Notice for "illegal organization activities and smuggling," and Maxat Rakhishov, who was wanted for "fraud," were captured in Istanbul during the "Mahzen-23" operation.
In a post on his social media account, Yerlikaya stated that they will not give any breathing room to international organized crime groups and drug traffickers who disturb the peace of the public, and that they will deliver them all to justice.
Minister Yerlikaya stated, "Talgat Baisaov and Maxat Rakhishov, who were captured in Istanbul during the 'Mahzen-23' operation carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Department, and who had Red Notice arrest warrants against them, have been handed over to the Removal Center to be sent back to their countries."
