21 detained, 7 arrested in prostitution operation in Gaziantep
In an operation conducted by police teams in Gaziantep targeting the crimes of encouraging, mediating, and providing premises for prostitution, 21 suspects were detained. Arrest warrants were issued for 7 of them.
In an operation conducted by police teams in Gaziantep targeting the crimes of encouraging, mediating, and providing premises for prostitution, 21 suspects were detained.
Under the coordination of the Gaziantep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Public Security Branch Directorate carried out an operation targeting the crimes of encouraging, mediating, and providing premises for prostitution. 21 suspects were detained in the operation.
During searches conducted on the detained suspects and the vehicles they used, 5 unlicensed rifles, 3 unlicensed pistols, 78 thousand 160 TL, 550 dollars, 50 euros, and a quantity of narcotics were seized.
Following their procedures at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse, where 7 were arrested and 14 were released under judicial control conditions.
Additionally, within the scope of the operation, administrative fines totaling 282 thousand 503 TL were imposed on 42 individuals.
