210 suspects apprehended in Ankara-based 'Narkogüç' operations across 32 provinces: Organization's leadership network dismantled

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his X account that a drug gang's leadership network has been dismantled in a drug operation.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"Within the scope of the 'Narkogüç' (Narco-Power) Operations conducted in 32 provinces centered in Ankara, 210 suspects were apprehended, including the drug trafficker whose organization was led by foreign national Jamukhan Ulus. The organization's leadership network has been dismantled.

Our Ankara Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch conducted simultaneous 'Narkogüç' operations across 32 provinces centered in Ankara, targeting the leadership and member levels of a profit-oriented criminal organization that established and managed an organization to commit crimes, engaged in drug trafficking by leaving drugs at specific locations based on location data and requiring payments to bank accounts, and laundered assets derived from crime.

Within the scope of the operation, a total of 210 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody, including 135 in Ankara and 75 in our other 31 provinces.

In the study carried out in coordination with the MASAK Presidency, all movable/immovable rights and receivables of the leader and management staff, as well as all their accounts in financial institutions, were seized. According to initial findings, the operation resulted in the seizure of 33.5 kg of drugs, 6,659 drug pills, 3 pistols, 79,238 Dollars, 36,500 Euros, and 249,701 TL in cash. As a result of the operation, the criminal organization's leadership network was dismantled!"
