Adana Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams tracked two semi-trucks identified as carrying illicit tobacco.
During searches conducted on the vehicles stopped on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep Highway, a total of 23 tons of illicit tobacco were seized.
Two truck drivers were taken into custody in connection with the incident.
It was learned that the suspects' processing at the gendarmerie is ongoing.
