25 days have passed and it remains unsolved: Saygı Öztürk's striking proposal to solve the Narin Güran murder

The investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, who was reported missing in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Diyarbakır's Bağlar district and whose lifeless body was found 19 days later in a sack covered with stones by the Eğertutmaz Stream, continues.

While it remains unclear who killed 8-year-old Narin or why, a striking proposal has come from Sözcü columnist Saygı Öztürk.

Stating that the state should offer a monetary reward to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding Narin Güran's murder, Öztürk noted the following:

“Despite all these technical capabilities, it has not been revealed who killed our 8-year-old daughter Narin Güran or why. It is also being suggested that the murder was committed for money. When necessary, the state can offer a 'monetary reward' to shed light on a dark incident. Since this case cannot be solved through normal channels, a monetary reward should be given to an informant who helps solve the murder. Believe me, with the information provided by unexpected names among those who say 'I don't know, I didn't see, I didn't hear,' significant steps would be taken to clarify the incident. The state would also be rid of the shame of not being able to solve the murder as soon as possible.”
