3 brothers found dead left a 9-page note: Cause of death determined
Regarding the death of 3 Iranian brothers in Antalya, investigations at the home revealed that the doors and windows had been sealed with packing tape, coal had been burned in a tray, and a 9-page note written in Persian was found.
The incident occurred at approximately 15:40 in an apartment on the top floor of a building located on 2384 Street in the Güzeloba neighborhood of Antalya's Muratpaşa district.
According to the information obtained, 3 brothers who had come to Turkey from Iran some time ago rented a furnished apartment in the Güzeloba neighborhood. The 3 brothers, who last spoke with their family in their home country on October 27, had not been reachable by their relatives for about 15 days.
The family informed an Iranian national residing in Antalya about the situation and asked him to reach out to their sons.
THEIR FAMILY IN IRAN HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH THEM FOR 15 DAYS
Upon the family's request, an Iranian citizen named Emrullah Esedi came to the address provided but could not reach the brothers despite knocking on the door. At the insistence of the family, Esedi went to the police station and arrived at the address in the Güzeloba neighborhood with the teams. Entering the residence using a spare key obtained from the landlord, the teams noticed a heavy odor coming from inside the house.
Having difficulty entering due to one of the room doors being locked from the inside, the teams opened the door and encountered the lifeless bodies of the 3 brothers, who were identified as Mohammed Reza Yasovalian (44), Mohsen Yasovalian (36), and Amirhossein Yasovalian (33).
Following this, the Homicide Bureau of the Antalya Police Department's Public Security Branch, as well as the Crime Scene Investigation team, were dispatched to the address. During the investigation, a note was found in which the brothers wrote that they had lost a large amount of money in the stock market and had ended their lives for this reason. It was learned that the 3 brothers had sealed the doors and windows of a room in the residence with tape to make it airtight, burned coal inside, and ended their lives collectively with the smoke that filled the room.
9-PAGE NOTE WRITTEN IN PERSIAN FOUND
Meanwhile, a written statement regarding the incident was released by the Antalya Police Department. The statement, which noted that 3 male bodies were found upon arriving at the address following a report, included the following:
"Searches conducted on the bodies and inside the residence revealed the identities of individuals named M.Y., M.Y., and A.Y., who held Iranian passports.
Investigations showed that the doors and windows of the residence were sealed with packing tape and that there was burnt coal in a tray in the middle of the room.
Furthermore, when the 9-page note written in Persian found in the room was translated, it was understood that the individuals mentioned debts due to their commercial relations, and the judicial investigation is ongoing.”
