3 critical topics at the Cabinet meeting
The Presidential Cabinet is meeting today at the Palace. At the center of the agenda are the tensions in the Middle East, Turkey's security measures, and the potential impacts on energy markets.
The Presidential Cabinet is meeting today under the chairmanship of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Foreign policy and security topics will take center stage at the meeting to be held at the Palace.
The main agenda of the meeting will consist of the attacks by the US and Israel against Iran and the regional repercussions of these developments. The possibility of the conflicts spreading and Israel's operations against Lebanon will also be evaluated comprehensively.

In this context, the current capacity and additional measures will be discussed following the deployment of F-16 fighter jets to Northern Cyprus and Patriot air defense systems to Malatya.
ENERGY AGENDA: THE HORMUZ EFFECT
Another critical issue to be addressed in the Cabinet will be the possible developments that could occur in the Strait of Hormuz. The possibility of the strait closing and its impact on global energy markets will be evaluated.
The reflections of rising oil prices on the domestic market and the steps that can be taken to maintain price stability will also be on the agenda.
SECOND OPENING PROCESS
On the domestic agenda of the meeting is the second opening process, referred to as a "Terror-Free Turkey." The stage reached after the completion of the work of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) will be evaluated in the Cabinet.
