3 more people summoned to testify in CHP 'money counting' investigation: Includes Çebi's son!

In the investigation launched regarding the money counting footage allegedly filmed at the CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters and circulated on social media, Serkan Çebi, the son of Küçükçekmece Mayor Kemal Çebi, Melih Morsümbül, an advisor to Maltepe Mayor Ali Kılıç, and Servet Aydın, the driver of businessman Hüseyin Köksal, have been summoned to the prosecutor's office as "suspects".

WHAT HAPPENED?

A video was shared on the social media platform X with the caption, "Footage has emerged of Fatih Keleş counting stacks of cash at the CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters."

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an ex officio investigation to uncover the material truth and determine whether any crime or criminal elements were present, following the circulation of the video on some social media accounts showing stacks of cash being counted after being removed from a bag.

Within the scope of the investigation, CHP Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Council Member and IMM Sports Club President Fatih Keleş, former CHP Istanbul Provincial Vice Chair Özgür Nas, and former press advisor to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters Can Poyraz gave their statements last week.

Most recently, former CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Canan Kaftancıoğlu also gave her statement today.
