New developments continue to unfold following the announcement of the terrorist organization PKK's disarmament and dissolution, as part of the new resolution process architected by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and referred to by the government as a 'Terror-Free Turkey'.
Speaking on the YouTube channel Onlar TV, journalist Barış Pehlivan stated that 3 PKK terrorists held in other prisons have been sent to join terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan at İmralı.
Pehlivan noted the following:
3 PKK MEMBERS TRANSFERRED, TOTAL REACHES 6
“Recently, a total of 3 more PKK inmates, two of whom were from Silivri Prison, were transferred to İmralı Prison. There were already 3 PKK members with Abdullah Öcalan; this is seen as a new step taken right after this process began. There are currently 6 PKK inmates with Öcalan.”
Pehlivan stated that he had confirmed this claim with 2 senior figures from the DEM Party, while emphasizing that the DEM Party wants such statements to be announced by the Ministry of Justice.
Pehlivan also mentioned that he had contacted the Press Office of the Ministry of Justice but had not yet received a response.
